Richard and I went to the Everett mall to have our pictures taken with the best Santa ever. Yes, that Santa man is my Dad. How awesome is that? Enjoy the picture!

Happy Birthday Rachel!
Very rarely do I go out and just let loose and have a crazy kind of night. But for Rachel's birthday I went ahead and had a some eggnog, a corpse reviver 2, and I tried my first Jello shots. I don't like vodka so Jello shots are not all that appealing to me, they certainly weren't worth the headache the next day. Not that any of the alcohol really was worth the headache I had on Sunday. Ugh. We went bowling, played some pool, rock band, apples to apples and catch phrase. I must say my drumming abilities are atrocious sober and they get even worse when I've had too much to drink, but at least I wasn't booed off the stage. I had an awesome time and enjoyed meeting some of Rachel's friends that I hadn't really met before. I even wore makeup which NEVER happens! Hopefully I'll be able to get down that way to hang out with Rachel and Des more often. I miss seeing those girls greatly.

I scored my first goal!!!
As you all may know I started playing hockey this fall/winter season. I'm having a blast! It is just so much fun and very good exercise! I finally scored my first goal, they really are harder to get then it sounds. All those silly NHL guys getting a goal every game make it sound like I should be getting goals left and right. The truth is, it's pretty hard to get a goal, all those people working against you, trying to stop the puck. So, when my first goal went in I was ecstatic! And I even got to keep my puck, it's sitting on my desk. Now if I could just get another goal that would be just lovely! There are a few pictures taken by one of the people on the teams husband (he's a photographer), I purchased the cheap online version so I could share them with everyone. Enjoy!

The Lights of Christmas
I have been hearing about The Lights of Christmas at Warm Beach for years now and have been wanting to go see what it is all about. I sent an email to the whole family and set a date so everyone could go. Sadly the weather wasn't all that great so Pamela and family weren't able to come over for the event. But we all had a blast enjoying the lights and food and all the Christmas Merriment! We went on a Sunday night so we could see the Uff da! It's Christmas play. It was fun to see, I think everyone had a blast. Enjoy the pictures!
Jingle Bell Walk
Richard and I woke up bright and early to go do the Jingle Bell Walk, we were supposed to meet up with my family at my parents and all carpool down to Seattle together. The night before I was questioning whether I wanted to go or not because of all the rain and I hadn't been feeling all that well. Dad called and said everyone was a go, so I said sure why not, I don't feel that bad. So we fast forward to the next morning. Dad calls to say that Dani and JP aren't going to be going, JP isn't feeling well. Then dad says he won't be going because he can't afford to get sick. And Chad and Sara aren't going because it's raining and no one else was going. So Richard and I swung by my parents, grabbed our t-shirts, bibs and bells and headed down to Seattle by ourselves to do the walk. Sure it was raining pretty hard, but it really wasn't all that bad. I got wet but most of the walk is in the express tunnels so it really wasn't too bad. My favorite part of the walk was when one of the larger groups would go by (or I caught up with them) and they were singing Christmas songs! Very fun! All the proceeds from the walk go to arthritis research. There are so many people living in pain because of arthritis. I hope the research does some good and manages to in some way help ease the pain they are experiencing. Enjoy the pictures!
