Weird Al

Richard and I enjoy going and seeing Weird Al when he's in town if we can, he is such an entertainer it is very much worth the admission to go see him.  AmazonLocal had a great deal for tickets so we decided we'd head down to Puyallup again and see him play.  He puts on such an amazing show, it really is pretty awesome.  Par for the summer, I wasn't feeling all that great and by the time the show was over I was STARVING, but it was awesome to see him.  We were way up in the bleachers, quite a change from the last show we went too, but we could still see and hear just fine so it didn't really matter.  (I loved the peacock outfit, it amused me so I just had to take out my camera and get a picture, it's the only one I took of the whole show, I was just not feeling all that camera happy I guess).  Fun times!

Puyallup Fair

We've taken up going to the Puyallup fair to watch the girls show their cats and enjoy the fair.  This year I wasn't feeling very good, lots of morning sickness and it was a hot day so I was fairly miserable.  I brought quite a few ice bottles with thankfully otherwise I really would have been no fun to be around.  Richard and I went and looked at the photography this year, there was lots of neat photos in the upstairs adult displays.  The girls did well with the show, I don't recall exactly what they got but it wasn't bad for state.  The girls and Tony also had some pictures down in the 4-H photography and a few crafts as well.  It's always fun to go to the fair, I look forward to going next year with the little one in my arms (or stroller) instead of making me sick!

Deception Pass Cruise

On the last day of our camping trip we decided to go do the Deception Pass Cruise, well, we actually tried to do it a different day but it was booked full so we went the last day instead.  The little shop where you redeem your tickets sells ice cream cones in size huge or enormous (they actually had some fun names for it), either way it's WAY to much ice cream for one person!  It was tasty stuff though, very much worth getting (and I would recommend sharing).

The cruise was fun, the weather wasn't amazing but the fog made for some neat shots.  I was hoping for a little more information then we got, but I guess we already know some of the basic stuff.  I'm glad we got the tickets on a Groupon special, for the sale price it was very worth going.

The kids had fun laying in the sun and playing in the sand after the cruise.  It was a nice relaxing way to end a fun vacation.
