A weekend at Port Gamble

We have been trying to take advantage of the property that Richards parents own with his aunts and uncles in Port Gamble.  The goal is to get out there at least twice a year, it is such a beautiful and relaxing place!  I love going there.  Here are some pictures from our weekend getaway!

Walking around Green Lake

Today I got together with my parents and we walked around Green Lake.  Back in July we were supposed to do a 5K walk in Everett and I was sick so we didn't end up walking, we just went and picked up the shirts then I headed home to rest.  We kept saying we were going to go walk the outside loop at Green Lake instead (which is just slightly more then 5K), today was the day!  We walked the whole thing in about an hour and a half. I am so proud of my mom for making it the whole way around! 

Rosco meats Nala

A few weeks ago I went with Chad down to Oregon to pick up his adorable little puppy, Nala.  Today Rosco met Nala and I think they had a pretty fun time playing.  Nala is a crazy little girl, very much a puppy.  She would go flying at him and attack, for a while Rosco was just hiding from her behind me.  But eventually he remembered what he should be doing and then they ran around like crazy doggies!  Below are some pictures of them.  Oh, and Rosco readily went in the pool they had which is super exciting since he is normally afraid of the water.  I think they had fun.
