Richard and I have been wanting to visit the Cougar Mountain Zoo for years now and have just never made it out there. So when Richard came home saying there was a geocaching event at the zoo and we should go how could I say no? The zoo is much smaller then what we are used to but they do a good amount of research there with the animals that they do have. We had a great time and I picked up a cute little coin from the geocaching event as well. While I enjoyed the zoo I think I'm much more likely to spend that much to visit one of the larger zoos in the area, if I find a coupon or something though I wouldn't be against visiting again. Good times!
We had a nice relaxing evening visiting with the Davis cousins over at the Philbrick's. We don't see them all that often so when we get the chance we try to go visit. I didn't take many pictures but I did glean a few off of Jenny's Facebook page. We picked so many strawberries! There is nothing quite as tasty as a home grown strawberry! Yummy!
Once again we invited the family over for the 4th to enjoy the fireworks in our neighborhood and more importantly ribs! We had a pretty good turnout this year, though Pam's family still hasn't been able to come over. That living on the other side of the sound makes such a big difference. I didn't take too many pictures, but here are some of what I have.
Izzy is very afraid of the fireworks so we spent a good amount of the night attempting to calm her down. I think next year we are going to need to get her a relaxant or something as I don't think she can take another night like that. Poor girl!
We all had fun and the ribs were delicious as always.
This is the summer of weddings for our family. My stepsister Joey had a beautiful wedding in Seattle to her now husband Rob. Rob is from London so they had neat decorations to commemorate the differences from London and Seattle.
